All quotes and invoices are fully inclusive of all food (including drinks & beverages if ordered), all staff, and all equipment necessary, and are ex-GST.

A delivery fee may be charged for functions more than 20 kilometres from Silva Service Catering.  Delivery fees will be calculated with regards to the distance and number of staff required for your function.

All pricing is based upon a “per-head” factor.  Additional charges will be incurred for the service of additional guests at any function.

Set up time is also included in your pricing.  It normally takes 30 – 60 minutes to set up your function depending upon your choice of service.  Our staff will need to access to your function centre in time to set up.

While we make every effort to arrive on time, there may be rare occasions where this is not possible.  This is normally due to adverse traffic or weather conditions.  Silva Service Catering will not be held responsible for such incidents out of our control.

In the event that Silva Service Catering requires the cancellation of a booking, any deposit payments will be fully reimbursed.

Deposit payments are required within the timelines arranged during your booking.  In the event that you cancel your booking within the relative time frames, deposit payments will be non-refundable. 

Private cheques are strictly unacceptable for final balance payments.  All accounts must be settled on the day of your function with clear funds and cash is the most preferred option.

With the implemented use of VISA and credit/debit card facilities by Silva Service Catering, any payment using these facilities will incur a 2% surcharge.  This surcharge may be varied without notice as associated costs fluctuate.

Health, Safety and correct Food Handling is paramount to Silva Service Catering.  We encourage you to bring clean and sanitary containers if you would like to retain any left-over food.  Our trained staff will advise you on safe storage, refrigeration and use of left-over food, however, we reserve the right in rare circumstances to withhold certain items if your storage or refrigeration facilities are unsatisfactory in the circumstances.

Our staff are committed solely to the assistance and service of your guests as caterers.  Please remember that groups of different people can behave in various ways especially during celebrations, or workplace functions arranged by the employer.  Our staff will not "Police" your guests in any way (ie; stop any person from taking extraordinary large servings, or from taking second or third servings before other guests).  We will ensure that you are supplied with ample food for the size of your function and generally this will not interfere with the running of your function, however, Silva Service Catering will not be held responsible for those rare instances involving unpredictable guests.  If you are worried that this may be a problem in your workplace or for your function please ask our staff for advice before your function.
